I also run a blog about music that focuses mainly on the Piano. One of the first things that I always tell my students is to have a set of goals in mind. Short term goals to meet for the day, goals to meet for the week, goals for the month and goals for years down the road. I find that when we have both very short-term goals and long-term goals, we get so much more accomplished with so much more satisfaction. Keep up the great writing!

This information is very good. As they say, practice makes perfect. I have a good friend that is a professional guitar player. He used to practice consistently for over 6 hours per day, every day! Now people say he is a natural and that he was born to play guitar. He freely admits that talent is only part of the equation. It was the years of hard work and practice that got him to where he is today.
