Are You Into Gospel Music?

Filed Under (Music Theory, Musical Performance, Piano, Practice) by Kevin on 02-10-2006

People who listen to as well as play the piano seem to be very much aware of the gospel piano sound AND its influence on peoples’ lives around the world.

BUT…

Unfortunately, there aren’t many resources out there geared towards Gospel music instruction (…especially by EAR). That’s why I thought it was extremely important for me to share with you what I’ve found.

So…

If you love this music as much as I do, then you owe it to yourself to check out the gospel piano instructional series called “GospelKeys.” I mean, the Gospel Keys Series goes far beyond anything I’ve seen before.

At first, I thought that playing by ear was purely a gift, and you’re either born with it or you’re not. Later, as courses like this emerged, I quickly discovered that it can be gradually attained with the right tools. And to tell you the truth, when I first got word of this product line, I was truly amazed!

A young man by the name of Jermaine Griggs is an expert gospel pianist, and he has one of the most successful piano sites on the Internet today. I honestly think one of the big reasons for Jermaine’s success is his immense talent as a gospel piano player coupled with an unique ability to teach it in a systematic way that’s easy to understand.

You can get more info from his web site at: http://www.hearandplay.com/

Go ahead and click on the audio player on that page to hear Jermaine explain a little about each of his resources to find out which one is right for you.

By the way, the direct link to one of his more popular worship courses is: http://www.hearandplay.com/

All the Best,
Kevin Sinclair

P.S. - If you’re a church musician and have been struggling to play gospel music — or, if you’re an accomplished musician and just want to learn MORE gospel chords and tricks, I highly recommend that you check out his site: http://www.hearandplay.com/

P.P.S. - At least take advantage of their free newsletter and over 60 free online lessons at: http://www.hearandplay.com/
